I will cause your instrument to travel through time and space. When it returns, it will bear the markings of years that have yet to exist. Combining materials that I have available from my own adventures and treasure hunting expeditions with strange keepsakes of your own creates a truly unique, one-of-a-kind instrument every time.

As well, the overall sound of the instrument is improved - most new instruments have a plastic coating as the finish - which I have found gets in the way of the true resonance of the wood. Adding metal pieces to the body and headstock as well improve the overall depth and richness of sound. Old bluesmen are said to have glued silver dollars to the back of their headstocks for this very reason. Additionally, I've found that the feel of playing and the touch of the neck to carry a certain added charm and connection when the barrier between the wood of the guitar and your hand is removed, like the grip of your hand around a hiking staff that you've carved yourself.

I am available for commission work on any instrument you might want this treatment done to. All instruments and inquiries are welcome.

Check out some detailed photos of each instrument on the side panels of this page.
